If you’ve watched one of Dr. William Lane Craig’s debates or videos, you may have wondered whether there’s a way to dig into these questions with people near you. That’s what a Reasonable Faith chapter is for.
Reasonable Faith in brief
Reasonable Faith is the ministry of Dr. William Lane Craig, a philosopher and theologian. Its aim is to provide an intelligent, articulate voice for biblical Christianity in the public arena, through articles, podcasts, videos, debates, and local chapters.
What chapters are
Reasonable Faith chapters are local groups, in the US and around the world, that meet regularly to study apologetics, build community, and engage their neighbors. Each chapter is led by a director who has completed Reasonable Faith’s certification process. Chapters run semi-autonomously: the local director chooses the meeting place, the schedule, and the direction of discussion, in line with Reasonable Faith’s mission. (Source: Reasonable Faith Chapters FAQ.)
Some chapters meet in churches; others meet in cafés, libraries, community centers, or on campuses.
The Northwest Arkansas chapter
Reasonable Faith NWA is led by chapter director Will Johnson and meets monthly in Bentonville. A typical meeting includes a focused talk on a big question, followed by open discussion. Recent and recurring topics include:
- The Kalam cosmological argument: did the universe have a cause? (read our plain-English explainer)
- The fine-tuning of the universe for life
- The historical evidence for Jesus and his resurrection
- Science and faith
We’re grateful to partner with New Heights Church, Catalyst Church, and Cross Church.
